When I was using my Airport Time Capsule as a router I could access it's disk with the file manager on my Win 10 PC. I recently started using a different router and set my Airport to Wireless Network Mode-Off and Network Router Mode-Off(Bridge Mode). Since I did that I am unable to access the disk. My Airport shows up in File Manager
However, when I click on it I get this window
The name is correct.
I've tried the Diagnose but that doesn't help.
I used this to transfer files between my IMAC and my PC.
I sure would like to use it again.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Open a command window and ping the address.. if it responds then you have to turn SMB1 back on.
IMHO.. it means using the TC as intermediate between mac and windows is now not a great idea.. there is no reason over the network you cannot directly connect windows to Mac using SMB2 or higher.
SMB1 was used by wannacry ransomware.. it is a bad idea to turn it on permanently.
Show more LessTime Capsule and NAS How do I get my Time Capsule (I use it only for storage, not WiFi) to recognize a disk plugged into its USB port as Network Attached Storage? It was mounted just fine when the disk was formatted as MacOS Extended (Journaled), but had trouble with Time Machine backups on the disk (kept saying it was full when it wasn't). I looked up what format Time Machine preferred and found that AFPS was recommended, so reformatted that disk to AFPS. When I plugged it back into the Time Capsule, it isn't recognized as a mounted disk. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I have a Time Capsule that I have hardwired to my MAC with Mojave on it, and I'm not able to see the disk. I can't install the airport utility 6.3.1 as it won't install. I have my Time Capsule directly connected to my Macbook Pro with Mojave and it does not see the device as a hard drive. If I attach it to my network, I can see it. It has the wifi turned off. I can not install the Airport 6.3.1 as shows Mojave not supported. I want to back up the Time Capsule to a drive for offsite storage. My network is too slow was trying to use on either a PC with Windows 10 (not supported) or the Mac. I thought at least it would recognize the hard drive. Any suggestions?
Can't open AirPort Time Capsule folder My home wifi network is generated by my tall Air Port Time Capsule. I want to access files on the networked attached storage in the Time Capsule. When I double-click on the name of the TC in the sidebar of a Finder window, the TC window opens and shows the folder, called Tall TC Disk. But when I try to open this, the beach ball cranks for a couple of minutes and then I get a window telling me "The operation can't be completed because the original item for 'Tall TC Disk can't be found." Do I have to rename something? How?
